Calanques, Provence

  The Calanques are a series of cliffs and bays between Marseille and Cassis, in the south of France. Essentially, they are small bays formed in the limestone cliffs, leaving a variety of beautiful bays. The word Calanques, from the calorie in Corsican and Calancas in Occitan, means Inlet. The area has a very special ecosystem (no land-plants living in the limestone) and is a protected area since 2012 when the entire Calanques lasts 20 miles and is designated a national park.

  The Arena Beach in Cassis is located in the east of the town center and at the foot of the Cap Canaille. Few people know, this pebble Beach has low attendance.   The beautiful beach in the Ile de Porquerolles, an island on the French coast, is known as De de Notre-Dame and is well-scented by eucalyptus and pine trees.  

On the northeast coast of Porquerolles, duc ba Square is just outside the ad of the old Bounty bar. A crescent of sand outlines the bay, where the ships are painted in a green and blue water surface. One of the Iles, Porquerolles is right next to Hyères. The island is the French Riviera its way: the Eucalyptus tree and the fragrant pine trees are cool air, sandy paths to the beach, mountain bikes rather than cars and outdoor restaurants serving locally caught fish. Most of the island is preserved as a national park; Smoking is prohibited outside the town.
