On July 7, 2019, Windows 7 will celebrate its 10th birthday. The fact that it remains to cling to the title is the world's most popular operating system for nearly a decade after its release is a testimony to its original quality. But let's be honest, there is no way that a 10-year-old operating system must be number one. So what is happening? Why do many people and businesses still use it?

Here are the top four reasons this operating system delivers:

  • Security and privacy: If you spend time browsing this topic on various dedicated Windows forums of the web, there is a reason to stand out from all other issues: security and privacy.
  • Legacy software and Application Compatibility: Windows 7 is still proud of its better Windows 10 software compatibility.
  • Familiarity: If you have used Windows 7 exclusively since its release in 2009 and you have never used Windows 8 temporarily, the difference between the interfaces, layout and the menu is glare. For some Windows 7 users, it is simply not worth taking the time to adapt to the new version.
  • Hardware limitations: On papers, Windows 7 and Windows 10 have identical hardware requirements. However, if you try to install Windows 10 on the computer in the bottom part of those specs, you will encounter significant difficulties.

Although Microsoft released updates very often for XP, in the original version it is now considered a relic from the days passed and lacks many modern features that we have used in Windows 10.

Windows XP 2019 Edition is closer to XP that we remember and love, but with updated graphics and modern features. This time, Aidan restores the classic Start menu without any direct cell insight. There are silver and olive green themes, dark and really dark modes, animated backgrounds-where the sun sets and grows on the iconic Bliss backdrop-and also updates Paint and 3D Pinball apps.
