We're here to talk about work stress. It is a real thing. Some of us, even after spending almost the entire day at work, can't seem to switch off from it even when we're home. Work occupies more space in our heads than we'd like to believe. It's safe to say, we end up carrying our work home even if it's just in our heads.
And trying to find balance between your work and personal life can seem like quite the task. Anxiety and stress come easy.
I used to think it is easy to manage stress, and it probably is, but when you're busy you can barely eat or drink it can get difficult to remember that. Thinking about my work life today, I can't help but think about the back pain that refuses to leave my body. I am not sure if friends at work is a real thing or not. I am surrounded by deadlines and mails that do little to make things okay.
So, I sat down one day and had a conversation with myself about all the stress I was feeling. It was something no else could for me; I had to do it for myself. I realised feeling stress at work is inevitable. The only thing we can do is find ways to manage it. I found some, and figured if they can work for me, they can work for you.
