“Mothers need you, too, even if they don’t say it out loud,” actress Isabelle Daza realized after granting a special request from her mother, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz.
On Instagram, Daza shared that her mom — the first Filipina who brought home the Miss Universe crown — has always been a strong and confident fighter who do not usually ask for help.
But on the day she flew all the way to Atlanta to accompany the latter on the set of her upcoming Netflix show, she felt needed by her mom for the first time.
“My mom is such a strong and confident fighter who rarely asks for help, but today was the first time I felt she needed me to feel safe (which is probably why she fought me for almost cancelling this trip),” she wrote on the caption of the photo.
“I learned that mothers need you, too, even if they don’t say it out loud,” she added.
Meanwhile, Daza asked everyone to watch the episode 6 of the Netflix series Insatiable (Season 2), where Diaz will have a guest appearance.
“Please support her guest role on season 2 of the Netflix show: Insatiable, episode 6! I’m so proud and excited. And thank you to the whole cast and crew, (who) were so gracious in welcoming her,” she posted.
Insatiable tells the story of a teenager who aspires to be a beauty queen.
In her post, Diaz expressed how excited and nervous she felt while doing her scene.
“Working with Dallas Roberts on the set of Insatiable of Netflix. I am excited/nervous, feels like I am a beginner. I can’t remember my lines and just totally overwhelmed,” she wrote.
