A study published in the European Journal of Cancer Prevention found that those who drank one cup of coffee every day reduced their risk of developing non-melanoma skin cancer by about 10%.
Add fruits like bananas and berries to Greek yogurt to make this delicious anti-aging smoothie. Ripe bananas are rich in pectin which keeps the sugar level in the body under control. Pectin also helps to remove harmful toxins from the body, which is essential to slowing down the aging process. On the other hand, berries are a rich source of vitamin C, which helps keep your skin supple and radiant.
While drinking wine heavily or binge drinking can severely damage your liver and make you appear older than you actually are, drinking in moderation reduces inflammation and the diseases that are associated with getting old. Also, drinking moderately, (a glass a day for women and 2 for men) can ward off dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The antioxidants in beetroot can protect the body from free radicals and fight wrinkles.
Almond milk contains vitamins A, D, and E which can keep your skin healthy and younger-looking. It is also rich in calcium and protein which helps keep your nails and hair strong and supple.
Avocados are packed with monounsaturated fats that provide the glow to your skin while bananas contain vitamins A, B, and E, all of which are excellent for your skin as well.

Our body requires vitamin C to produce collagen which increases the plumpness and suppleness of your skin. Grapefruit is rich in vitamin C, therefore, drinking a glass of grapefruit juice will not only reduce wrinkles, but it will also make your skin appear fuller and more youthful. Also, since it’s rich in the anti-oxidant “retinol,” grapefruit helps to repair damaged skin and treat skin pigmentation.

Coconut water is rich in minerals and electrolytes, which are essential for the healthy metabolism of amino acids, lipids, and carbohydrates, and for improving the distribution of nutrients received from food. Also, coconut water contains a plant hormone called cytokinin which promotes cellular growth. Cytokinins are also known to be anti-carcinogenic.
