As European countries begin lifting COVID-19 restrictions, many people across the continent have begun thinking about whether they can have a holiday this summer.

Greece, Germany, Italy, Czech... all are welcoming visitors and international flights from June 15.

Croatia is now opening its borders to Germany and nine other Eastern European countries. The remaining European countries need a reason to be allowed to enter, such as booking confirmation, travel rooms.

With Portugal, visitors from all European countries, except Spain and Italy, were able to freely enter to travel without isolation.

From June 8, international visitors and all British people entering the UK must be isolated for 14 days.

Cyprus allows travelers from Germany, Greece and some other countries to travel from June 9 if they are confirmed negative to COVID-19 infection for 3 days before arriving in the country. Request for this test result will be dropped from June 20. Visitors from the UK and Russia (two major markets of Cyprus) are still banned.

Austria will lift its border restrictions related to COVID-19, including quarantine rules from June 11 to visitors from neighboring countries, except Italy.

Germany will lift its travel ban with some members of the European Union (EU), Britain, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein from June 15.

Italy welcomes visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom from June 3, ending the longest quarantine in the world. Flights to and from non-European destinations are still banned until June 15.

In Greece, international flights to Athens and Thessaloniki airports will resume by June 15. Visitors from high-risk places like the United Kingdom will have to go through a virus test first. If the result is positive, the tourist needs to go to the quarantine area for 14-day quarantine, while negative ones will be allowed to self-quarantine for a week.
